A delicious sweet cake from crumbly dough will be a great addition to tea. For the filling, you can use any jam, as long as it is thick. After cooking, the cake must cool completely so that it can be cut into pieces. After cooling, the jam will thicken and will not flow out.

How to make

1. Prepare the necessary ingredients. Sift the flour through a sieve to saturate with oxygen. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft.

2. Cut the soft butter into a bowl and add sugar. Crush butter and sugar.

3. Beat the eggs.

4. Gradually add flour and soda and knead the dough. Do not pour everything at once.

5. Flour may be needed a little more or less, depending on its quality. The finished dough will be soft, tender and will not stick to your hands.

6. Divide the dough into two unequal parts. Put the smaller part in the freezer to stiffen. Put most of it in a baking dish and spread over the entire bottom, forming small sides.

7. Spread any thick jam in an even layer. I used apricot jam.

8. Grate the frozen dough over the entire surface of the cake. Place in the oven and bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes.

9. The cake will have a golden brown color. Remove from oven and cool.
