Even ordinary porridge can be cooked so that it shines in new, unusual colors. If desired, a little salt can be added to the porridge during cooking. To prevent the porridge from burning, choose dishes with a thick bottom, rather than enameled ones. Do not try to cook porridge in milk right away, only in water the grains open and appear softer. If all the milk is absorbed and the porridge is not yet cooked, add a little hot milk and cook until soft.

How to make

1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients

2. Pour water into a pot and bring to a boil. Wash the rice and put it in a bowl. Cook on medium heat for 6-8 minutes until the water is completely absorbed.

3. Pour milk into the rice pot, reduce the heat and simmer covered for 15-20 minutes.

4. Add sugar and coconut flakes to the porridge. Mix everything and cook under the lid for another 5 minutes.

5. Remove the porridge from the heat and pour in half of the condensed milk. Mix everything and add the remaining condensed milk if desired.
