The recipe for fried mozzarella cheese sticks with marinara sauce in a crispy crust of milk, eggs, parsley and breadcrumbs. Crispy fried cheese sticks are a great, easy-to-make snack. Please note that you can also fry slices of zucchini, slices of sweet potatoes, pieces of chicken and even shrimp.

How to make

1. Cut each mozzarella cheese stick in half to get 32 sticks. Pour flour into a bowl. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and milk.

2. In another separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with chopped dry parsley.

3. Take one stick of Mozzarella cheese, roll in flour, then dip in a mixture of eggs and milk, then roll in a mixture of breadcrumbs and parsley. Repeat with the rest of the chopsticks.

4. Carefully lay out the sticks on a baking sheet or tin and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

5. In a large frying pan over medium heat, heat the rapeseed oil. Put the cheese sticks in the pan, about 8 pieces in one batch. Cook until browned, about 2 minutes. Then carefully turn over and fry on the other side for 2 minutes. Do not allow the cheese to bubble or spread.
