In the recipe for making a bacon roll, you can add not only the specified spices, but also any others to your liking. For taste, you can also add, for example, bay leaf. This is a great and, most importantly, natural snack for the whole family.

How to make

1. First you need to thoroughly wash the bacon, especially the skin, and dry it a little with a paper towel.

2. So, how do you season a bacon roll well? Use a sharp knife to cut lengthwise to unwrap the piece.

3. Peel the garlic (the amount depends on taste preferences and can reach as much as 10-12 cloves) and put in a pestle. Add a little salt and grind well. Add pepper and spices to taste. Stir thoroughly and rub the bacon from the inside (leave the skin unseasoned).

4. Wrap the bacon in a roll so that the skin is on top and tie it tightly with a thread.

5. The bacon roll can be baked in the oven or cooked in a saucepan. In this case, the roll will be cooked, so it should be wrapped in food foil and placed on a wire rack or in a baking dish.

6. The roll should be baked in the oven for about 2 hours at medium temperature. If you want to get an appetizing crust, you can carefully unfold the foil for the last 15-20 minutes.
