American meat pie does not require much effort to prepare, so any housewife can handle it. The addition of sweet peppers, basil and parsley gives it its original taste. Peppers are usually red, but I wanted a play on color, so I added green. Basil can be used both green and purple, but do not forget that they have a completely different taste. Be sure to let the cake stand after baking. This is necessary so that the meat juices released from it during cooking are absorbed back. Then it will be juicy and not dry.

How to make

1. Prepare all the ingredients you need to make the American Meatloaf.

2. Add minced meat, bread crumbs and beat in an egg in a bowl.

3. Finely chop parsley and basil and add to a bowl with minced meat, bread crumbs and egg.

4. Wash and dry the pepper, remove the stalk with seeds and finely chop it.

5. Add salt and pepper and mix until evenly distributed.

6. Grease a 12 * 18 baking dish with vegetable oil and add the meat mass. Press a little and smooth the surface.

7. Place the container in a hot oven and bake for 90 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. After the specified time, remove the cake from the oven and let it stand for 10 minutes, then cut and serve.
