Tortilla de patatas is a recipe for Spanish cuisine, it is an omelet in olive oil from chicken eggs with potatoes and onions, fried on both sides in a pan. The Spanish potato casserole is called Tortilla. These are raw potatoes, cut into thin circles or cubes, fried and simply poured with scrambled eggs. This is a great lunch or breakfast for the whole family. Perfect for a picnic, because no less tasty and cold.

How to make

1. Prepare all the ingredients. -
2. Cut the potatoes into cubes. -

4. Cut the onion into quarter rings. -
5. Pour olive oil into a deep pan, heat it. -

6. Drain the potatoes, salt them and pour them into hot oil. -
7. Cook over high heat for 4-5 minutes. -

9. Fry onions and potatoes over low heat until tender. -
10. Beat the eggs in a deep bowl. Stir them with a whisk. -

12. Add a little olive oil to the pan, pour the egg-potato mixture, put over medium heat. Stir for 1 minute. Then let it bake for 2 minutes to form a crust. -
13. Cover the pan with a large container. -
14. Turn the pan over on a plate. Tortilla must be turned over. -
15. Then carefully transfer the tortilla from the container to the pan. Bake for 2-3 minutes. This procedure must be repeated 2-3 times. -
