Pearl barley is a very useful product for our health. Soup with pearl barley and chicken is tasty and very appetizing. Served at the dinner table with Borodino bread and herbs. How to make

1. Pre-wash the pearl barley and dip them in boiling water for a couple of hours. Cook the chicken meat until half cooked. Add pearl barley and diced potatoes to the broth. Cook over medium heat.

2. Cut carrots and celery into thin strips.

3. Finely chop the onion and fry until tender. Then add carrots and celery, stew until beautiful golden brown.

4. Pour in the tomato sauce, stir and simmer for a few more minutes.

5. When the potatoes and pearl barley are ready, add the fried vegetables to the soup. We also add salt and chopped herbs to taste.
