I am sharing my very favorite yellow tomato sauce recipe for winter. The taste is very rich, slightly sweet, with a hint of garlic. Perfect for seasoning soups, with meat.

Yellow tomatoes2 kilograms

How to make

1. Prepare all the ingredients.

2. Wash the tomatoes, grind them with a meat grinder until pureed. Next, chop the onions.

3. Transfer the onions and tomatoes to the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes.

4. Then strain through a sieve to remove the skin and seeds.

5. Pour the sauce back into the pot, add salt and sugar, bay leaves and black pepper. Cook for about an hour on medium heat, stirring constantly.

6. At the end, add chopped garlic and lemon juice. Cook for another 5 minutes.
