And if you add a delicious sauce to the cutlets, an ordinary dinner will turn into a real holiday for body and soul. I think that almost everyone is very fond of cutlets and cooks them quite often, but if you want the taste to be brighter and richer, I will tell you how to prepare the sauce for cutlets. Such a small addition will not only improve the taste of any cutlets, but also save you from the situation if they turn out to be a little dry. There are many different options for the sauce, but here I offer you my favorite classic recipe for sauce for cutlets, in which we use tomato paste and onions as the main ingredients, but you can choose the spices to your liking.

How to make

1. First of all, of course, we should bake cutlets. For now, put them in a bowl and cover with a plate so as not to cool down, as we will need the pan in which they baked.

2. So, heat the fat obtained after frying the cutlets, add the diced onions to them, fry the onions until golden brown.

3. Then add flour to the onion, quickly mix everything and saut a little more.

4. Now we add tomato paste and add spices to taste, I usually add a mixture of ground black pepper and dried herbs.

5. Pour a glass of hot water into the pan, mix everything and make sure that there are no lumps. Salt the sauce, add bay leaf to it and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.

6. Immediately before turning off, add garlic and, if available, fresh herbs, mix everything and turn off the fire.
