Summer is the time for vegetable goodies. And there is nothing tastier than pickled cucumbers, every gardener can attest to that! In this recipe I will tell you how I marinate them in a 1.5 liter jar.

Cucumbers900~1000 grams

Vinegar 9%1.5 spoons

Salt1.5 spoons

Sugar1 spoon

Spices (for marinating vegetables)1~2 tablespoons

Garlic4~5 pcs

Black peppercorns4~5 pcs

How to make

1. Prepare all the ingredients.

2. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly, then soak them in clean water for 2 hours.

3. Place half of the spices and garlic on the bottom of a pre-sterilized jar.

4. Tightly put the cucumbers halfway into the jar. Then add the second part of spices and garlic. Stack the remaining cucumbers.

5. Boil 750 ml in a pot. water. Pour into a jar, cover and leave for 5-8 minutes. Boil another batch of water with this again.

6. Drain the liquid from the jar (almost all of it), pour vinegar, add salt and sugar. Then pour boiling water again.

7. Close the lid, turn the jar upside down, wrap it in a towel and leave it to cool.
