If home-grown garlic begins to dry or decay and you need to save the harvest, marinate. Easy to make, tasty, and pepper gives a spicy taste. If you want pickle garlic from the store, do not be surprised that after a while it will turn greenish. This will not affect the taste at all. If desired, other spices, pieces of paprika, herbs can be added to the garlic.

How to make

1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

2. Peel the garlic , wash the cloves. Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the garlic and simmer for a minute. Drain the broth, rinse the garlic in cold water, let it drain completely.

3. Wash the jars well in hot water with soda and rinse. Sterilize the jars in any way convenient for you. Boil iron lids for 5 minutes over medium heat.

4. In hot jars, add garlic with chopped chilli.

5. Pour water into a saucepan, add bay leaf and black pepper.

6. Pour sugar into a saucepan.

7. Add salt, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

8. Add vinegar, bring to a boil and pour over garlic. When pouring liquid, leave 2 centimeters from above.

9. Sprinkle the top of the garlic with vegetable oil.

10. Roll up the garlic, turn it upside down and wrap until completely cooled.
