A popular Russian dish is pancakes with meat. It is usually served at lunch as a second course. Pancakes with meat filling will also be a great addition to a cup of coffee or tea for breakfast. Delicious!

  • Baking soda

  • Sugarn

  • Vegetable oil
    1/2 cup
  • Ground beef
    230 grams (for filling)
  • Vegetable oil
    2 spoons
  • Caraway
    1/2 tbsp
  • Black pepper

  • Water
    1/2 glass
  • Butter
    1 teaspoon
  • Onion

  • How to make
  • Beat 3 eggs in a bowl of warm milk. Add soda, sugar and salt. Mix with a whisk or mixer. Add the flour and mix well again. Add oil. Take a ladle and shake the dough a few times. Keep aside for 15 minutes. Heat a pan to medium-high heat, add oil and add mincemeat.
  • Add chopped onion. Add spices and salt.
  • Mix well. Wait ~5 minutes, add water and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, beat 1 egg with a little water.
  • Add the egg mixture to the meat and mix well.
  • Heat a pan, add oil and fry round brown casts.
  • Add a little butter to each pancake. Season with meat filling.
  • Roll up the pancake and taste.
