The other day, I managed to learn the recipe for bird's milk from my mother - my favorite childhood dessert. I made it according to my mother's recipe - it turned out fantastically delicious. A mousse-like creamy base, a thin velvety layer of cocoa... That taste cannot be expressed in words. Many times tastier than store-bought sweets or bird's milk cakes. I recommend you try it!

How to make
-
1. We take a small pot, mix milk and 2 packets of gelatin in it.
-
2. We put the pot on a medium heat and slowly beat until steam comes out of the mass. Do not boil under any circumstances - you need to remove it from the heat earlier, as soon as steam appears.
-
-
3. We add 1 cup of sugar, sour cream and whipping cream in a bowl at medium speed. Beat until smooth.
-
4. While whisking, gradually add warm milk to the mass.
-
5. We spray the glass form with oil (or a special non-stick spray sold in stores).
-
-
6. Distribute the resulting mass as evenly as possible on the glass form. The top should be leveled as carefully as possible. Then we put it in the refrigerator and freeze it.
-
7. Take a small pot and mix cocoa powder, remaining sugar and a bag of gelatin in it.
-
-
8. Add the remaining milk and cold water there. Beat with a whisk.
-
9. Put the pot on medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. The mixture should be completely smooth, so don't stop stirring for even a second.
-
10. Cool the resulting chocolate mixture to room temperature and then spread it evenly over the at least slightly hardened white mass in our glass mold.
-
-
11. If your mass is smooth, it will be evenly distributed on the surface, and the cake will be beautiful.
-
12. Place the form in the refrigerator for at least five hours, preferably overnight.
