Gurian chicken is a wonderful dish of Georgian cuisine. Chicken stewed in wine with onions, nuts and spices is tender and very fragrant. Gurian chicken can also be cooked with dry white wine. Along with parsley, you can also add coriander. Chicken can be served with rice, potato slices or fresh vegetables.

How to make

1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients for cooking Guriano chicken.

2. Cut the chicken into portions, wash and dry. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the chicken on all sides over high heat until golden brown.

3. Peel the onion and cut it into half rings, put it in the pan with the chicken. Stir everything and fry on medium heat for 7 minutes.

4. Wash and finely chop the parsley, add it to the pan.

5. Chop the nuts and add them to the pan.

6. Salt everything, add all the spices and mix.

7. Pour red wine into the pan, close the lid, reduce the heat to minimum and simmer everything for 60-90 minutes. Turn the chicken 2-3 times during stewing. Remove Gurian Chicken and serve immediately.
