Many of us love delicious store-bought jaggery, but it's no worse and even tastier to make homemade jaggery. All it takes is a little time, a few ingredients and a desire. According to this recipe, the result is really good, really perfect-tasting jaggery made at home!

    250 grams (of the highest quality)

    50 grams (or butter)

    100 milliliters

  • How to make
  • Beat the egg yolks with salt.
  • We rub margarine with sugar. We mix sour cream and oil into them. Pour rum or cognac. We mix in the beaten yolks.
  • Sift the flour and knead the dough, folding it over and beating it with a rolling pin. When the dough becomes elastic, we put it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  • We roll out the dough to the desired thickness, cut it into strips and form jaggery. We cook the prepared jaggery in heated oil until they start to brown nicely.
  • After boiling, place the jaggery on a paper towel to remove unnecessary excess oil. After some time, transfer to a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
