Charlotte with apples and meringue is a very interesting version of everyone's favorite apple cake. The top layer is coated with beaten egg whites to form a meringue layer, and the apple layer is fresh and flavorful. The amount of ingredients in the recipe is for a mold with a diameter of 26 cm. In order for the proteins to whip well, they must first be cooled and, of course, must not fall into a single drop during the separation of the yolk. Sugar can be replaced with powdered sugar.
