How to make

1. Wash the beef and cut into small cubes. Peel the onion and cut into pieces of medium size, chop the garlic. Sprinkle the meat with 1 tablespoon of flour.

2. Heat a cauldron or thick-walled pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter, then add the meat. Fry until golden brown, then transfer to a plate.

3. Return the cauldron or pan on the fire, put 2 tablespoons of butter in it and melt it, then add the onion. Fry for a few minutes, add garlic.

4. Add 3 tablespoons of flour to the onion and fry for 1 minute.

5. Pour in the wine, again add the meat, crushed carrots, bay leaf, allspice and black pepper and salt. Pour water until it barely covers all the contents. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat with the lid on for 1 hour.
