Baked apples with a mild cream can be a great breakfast if you make a cream in the evening. Or a wonderful dessert for a bachelorette party or a children's party. For cooking with cream, it is best to take apples of sour, dense varieties, without signs of spoilage. Apples can be baked both in individual molds and in a general form. If desired, you can supplement them with berries, nuts or, like me, mint leaves.

How to make
-
1. Rinse the apples thoroughly and dry them.
-
2. Pour the egg yolk into a saucepan, add sugar and stir well.
-
-
3. Sift the flour into a saucepan with the yolk and stir until smooth without lumps.
-
4. Pour half the cold milk into the pot and stir until smooth.
-
5. Heat the remaining milk over low heat and beat all the time, pouring the egg-flour mass in a thin stream. Cook, stirring, until thickened.
-
-
6. Remove the pot from the heat and, stirring further, pour in the butter. Stir the cream until smooth.
-
7. Place the film on the surface of the cream so that it comes into contact so that no foam appears on the surface. Leave the cream for 10 hours until it cools completely and stabilizes.
-
-
8. Cut off the tops of the apples and remove the core, leaving the walls 1 centimeter thick.
-
9. Pour 2 tablespoons of water into baking dishes and add apples. Place in a hot oven and bake for 10 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
-
10. Bake apples for another 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Remove the apples from the oven, let cool and serve.
