The meat accordion is a great choice for a family dinner and is perfect as a main course for a festive table. Tender pork with a beautiful crust and sweet taste will not leave anyone indifferent! To prepare the accordion, it is best to use a necklace or ham with a layer of bacon. If you want to make it more spicy, increase the amount of garlic or add adjika. How to make

1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

2. Wash the dried fruit and put in a saucepan. Pour water, cognac and add a little salt to it. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes until dried apricots and prunes are tender and the liquid evaporates. Remove from heat and cool completely.

3. Wash the pork, dry it and cut it into pieces, without cutting it to the end, season with salt and pepper. Mix half of the mayonnaise with chopped garlic, stir and coat the meat on the outside and between pieces. Put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

4. Add 2/3 of the grated cheese to the cooled dried fruit and mix.

5. Divide the filling between the pork chops.

6. Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil and lay out the accordion. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

7. Cover the tin with baking foil and place in a hot oven. Bake the meat at a temperature of 180 degrees for an hour.

8. Remove the foil, and coat the top with the remaining mayonnaise and mustard.

9. Return the accordion to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
