Black and red currant, although of the same family, are completely different in taste. And if you combine them and cook jam, you get a delicious, harmonious jam. You can sterilize the jars in any convenient way, and boil the iron lids over medium heat for 5 minutes. Store jam in a cool dark place, preferably in the cellar. If the jam is too liquid for you, you can thicken it with pectin or gelfix.
