Italian dumplings is different from what you are used to eating. They are large, so in one serving there are 2-3 pieces. For me, dumplings are a dish that can only be eaten with pasta or porridge. However, these Italians can also be served separately. Minced meat is prepared from a mixture of pork and beef, cheese and Italian spices (fresh or dried herbs) are always added to it. Cook the meatballs separately and saut them in sauce.

How to make

1. Finely chop the onion, carrots, 3-4 sprigs of parsley. Heat olive oil in a pan and add vegetables, fry vegetables until tender, add chopped garlic clove and finely chopped tomatoes. Add tomato paste, basil, salt and ground black pepper, simmer over low heat for 15-30 minutes. Crush the mixture and return to the pan.

2. Pour milk into the pot. Heat, then put the baguette in a saucepan and crush with a spatula.

3. Turn off the fire and leave the mixture to cool.

4. Put the minced pork and beef in a bowl, add both types of grated cheese, eggs, salt, oregano, ground pepper, chopped garlic, parsley, baguette mixture.

5. Mix the minced meat well until a homogeneous consistency is formed.

6. Form meatballs the size of tennis balls.

7. Roll each dumpling in flour, then put on a tray.

8. Heat the pan with vegetable oil, add a few dumplings.

9. Fry the dumplings on all sides until golden brown.

10. Return the sauce to the fire, and after boiling put the dumplings.
