The recipe for juicy, fragrant chicken with lemon, olives and thyme. This chicken can be served both on an ordinary and festive day. As a side dish, rice, porridge or potatoes are suitable. To prepare chicken with lemon and olives, fry the chicken pieces, then add the wine. When the alcohol evaporates, pour in the broth, the juice of one lemon, add the olives, lemon slices, herbs and simmer until tender.

Dry white wine1/3 glass

Chicken broth1 glass (or broth cubes poured boiling water)

Fresh thyme, sprig1 pc (you can also add oregano)

How to make

1. Prepare all the ingredients. Cut one lemon into slices, wash the thyme.

2. Put the chicken pieces on a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3. In a thick pan over high heat, heat the oil and fry the chicken pieces for 2 minutes on each side.

4. Then add the peeled garlic cloves to the fried chicken and pour everything with wine. Heat until the wine evaporates in half.

5. Pour in the broth and the juice of one lemon. Add olives, lemon slices and chopped thyme. If you have oregano, also chop a few twigs and put in a pan. Cover with a lid, reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer for 20 minutes. If you have a chicken with bones, simmer until the meat moves away from the bone.
