Appetizing borscht with peppers is an ideal dish for lunch. You can prepare in 20 minutes and feed the whole family, serving with sour cream, donuts or bread. Red bell pepper is used for borscht - it is aromatic and juicy. The dish can be served with marinated chilli if you like a bitter taste. Remember that the most delicious borscht is on the second day! The dish is imbued with the sweetness of beets and all tastes.

1. Prepare these ingredients.

2. Peel the potatoes, rinse, cut off the affected areas, cut into medium cubes into a saucepan. Put bay leaves there, pour water and place the container on the stove. Boil over medium heat from the moment of boiling for about 15 minutes.

3. Peel the beets and carrots, rinse the root vegetables in water. Grate with a fine mesh grater into a bowl.

4. Wash the tomatoes and peppers, remove the seeds from the pepper by cutting off the caps. Cut the tomatoes in half and cut out the green cuttings.

5. Put the tomato and pepper cloves in a blender and mash everything until smooth for 1-2 minutes.

6. Peel the onions, wash them and cut them into small cubes. Pour vegetable oil into a pan, heat on the stove and add onion slices. Bake until tender, about 2 minutes.

7. Add slices of beets and carrots, stir gently and simmer for another 1-2 minutes.

8. Add the tomato and pepper mass, stir and simmer for about 2 minutes.

9. Place in a saucepan where the potatoes were cooked.

10. Chop the fresh cabbage and add to the pot almost immediately after the fried vegetables. Salt and add sugar. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the dish is ready. Be sure to taste and add salt if necessary. If desired, you can add 1 tbsp. 6% vinegar if you like the acidified flavor of borscht. Peel the garlic cloves and press them into a container after washing.
