As a child, I really liked cheesecakes with jam. In them, the jam was thick, sweet and always eaten before. I later learned that apple jam is easy to make. It is important to remember that for jam you need peeled apple slices and without seeds. Also take into account that the cooking time can vary from one hour to an hour and a half. This is due to the different juiciness of the apples.

How to make

1. Prepare the necessary ingredients.

2. Peel the apples, clean the seeds. Transfer to a pot, add sugar, add water. Leave at room temperature for 8 hours.

3. After the specified time, the apples will give juice and there will be more liquid. Put the pot on the fire. Simmer for one hour to one and a half hours (depending on the apples). Stir occasionally.

4. After some time, the apple slices will become transparent, there will be practically no liquid. Remove the pot from the heat.

5. Use a blender to grind the apple slices to a smooth paste. The mass should be thick, if you hang it with a spoon, the jam should not slide down. Return the pot to the heat. Bring to a boil.

6. Place the hot jam in the jars, pressing lightly with a spoon.

7. Close the lids, turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a blanket and keep them for about a day, then you can put them in the storage place. Apple jam keeps well at room temperature.
